Childcare in the afternoon

While parents explore the slopes of the Aletsch Arena, children aged three and over are looked after by an experienced ski instructor at the St. Michael Centre. In the creative child care they can do craft activities, play and let off steam. If the weather’s nice, they are sure to spend time out in the snow. 

A week at the Bettmeralp child care centre could look like this:
•    Monday: Paint and paper – creative painting techniques
•    Tuesday: Wool time - felting, collages and stick things onto a card
•    Wednesday: Playing in the snow  – sledging, building snowmen 
•    Thursday: Making your own games – memory, nine men's morris
•    Friday: Design your own T-shirt – with or without Snowli/Gletschi

The childcare is located in the St. Michael centre on the lower floor and is open during the winter season from Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 16:00.

Pre-booking until the day before at 17:00 h.

Important: Please bring your own food, drinks, and nappy-changing paraphernalia. If your child is younger than 3 years old and you are looking for a babysitter, we recommend contacting the babysitting service of the Valais Red Cross (link just available in German).
