See the sunrise with 360° panoramic views on the Eggishorn on the Eggishorn Sunrise Ride. Witness that mystical moment on Eggishorn at 2869m when the first rays of sunshine of the day bathe the Aletsch Arena in an incredible blaze of colour. With the Sunrise Ride, you can be one of the first people on the mountain and experience this spectacle live.
 
Minute by minute, the light gradually overcomes the darkness and the Matterhorn and the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, and others, appear in the distance. Thanks to the 360° panoramic view, you also have a spectacular view of the Great Aletsch Glacier. This magical moment is accompanied by the sound of the alphorn.
 
The Sunrise Rides up to Eggishorn take place every Friday in July and August. Meet 15 minutes before departure at the Fiesch valley station. From there, the cable car takes you up to Eggishorn via Fiescheralp in about 20 minutes, depending on the time of sunrise.
 
After about an hour-and-a-half, filled with new impressions and your energy replenished, it’s back down to Fiescheralp by cable car. There, a fortifying breakfast awaits you in the Alpenlodge Kühboden restaurant.
