Advice for major events: Sport Resort Fiesch has outstanding facilities for seminars, events and banquets for everything from small groups up to 1200 guests. The resort can be hired exclusively for your event and is classified as a seminar hotel. Situated at the foot of the Aletsch Glacier, it is the perfect venue for inspiring activities in nature.
The Aletsch Arena’s workation paradise is easy to get to by car or public transport. All of the villages in the valley can be reached by both transport options too. If your accommodation is on the car-free plateau, parking spaces are available down in the valley and the cable car is close to the railway station. Please note: in winter, the car-free roads on Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Fiescheralp are covered in snow.

Meeting times, workshops, catering options, accommodation and activities can all be flexibly combined to meet the goals of your retreat in Valais.
Retreats can be organised flexibly based on your goals, group size and programme. Options include condensed one-day events, seminars, retreats with overnight accommodation or multi-day programmes. A wide range of activities are ideal for a team-building retreat at the Aletsch Arena and can be selected to suit the season and target group. Activities such as hiking, winter walks, skiing, cross-country skiing, guided glacier hikes, mountain biking, paragliding, climbing, mountain carts or golf are available in summer and winter. Yoga, watching wildlife, Sunrise Rides up to Eggishorn, stand-up paddle boarding or activities exploring edible plants and medicinal herbs are great options for more relaxed retreats. Cultural activities such as visits to villages, the Alpine Museum, Villa Cassel or weaving a Valais ‘Tschiffra’ (a basket carried on the back).
The Royal has modern technical equipment for meetings, workshops and presentations, including full-fibre broadband, an 85-inch screen, a Sonos sound system, a projector, a 135-inch screen and a flipchart. The Royal has six modern workspaces with full-fibre broadband.
The Royal’s spacious ‘Konkordia’ room is 80m² and ideal for a variety of seating plans. Depending on the layout, it provides capacity for 8 to 40 people: around 30 to 40 people in a Theatre layout, 12 to 14 people in Classroom or U-Shaped configuration, about 12 people in a Conference-style layout and 8 to 10 people in an exclusive Boardroom set-up. The compact ‘Gletscherspalte’ meeting room can also be hired for focussed discussions in a smaller setting for up to 4 people.
The Royal provides flexible catering options based on your group’s requirements. They include local Valais dishes, such as a Valais platter, raclette or cholera (a traditional vegetable quiche), as well as classic cuisine like pizza, burgers, cordon bleu and alpine macaroni but also lighter options, such as salads and soup. The catering options meet your specific requirements in terms of group size, timeframe and dietary requirements. There are also restaurants near to the Royal meeting venue.
