Above the clouds, freedom must be boundless, as a well-known song goes. In the Aletsch Arena, this is true below the clouds too. Here you can soar through the skies on a paraglider or hang glider and enjoy the unique landscape with the Great Aletsch Glacier from a bird’s eye perspective. Thanks to tandem flights – which are a popular gift, by the way – children as young as four can have the same spectacular experience.

Yes! Tandem flights are possible in summer and winter. In winter with or without skis strapped to your feet.
A paraglider flight in the Aletsch Arena costs between CHF 140 and 240. The price depends on the duration and the flight path. The Aletsch Arena Webshop gives you the details of all the tandem flying offers.
At all flight schools in the Aletsch Arena. The complete course lasts six to nine months.
Yes, with their parents’ permission. There are tandem paragliding flights in the Aletsch Arena especially for teens and kids from the age of four.
Tandem paragliding flights are available for children from the age of four. Young people can start learning to become paraglider pilots from the age of 14, but the exam cannot be taken before the age of 16.
The training course itself costs around CHF 2900–3300, not including the cost of equipment.
