Ski pass prices – how to benefit from dynamic pricing
Benefit from dynamic pricing on ski passes. Aletsch Bahnen – with its 35 transport systems – will once again provide access to 104km of perfectly groomed slopes in the upcoming 2025/2026 season. We get the very best out of the prevailing snow conditions in all weathers! Skiing on the Aletsch plateau is an appealing and varied experience – not just because of the great views, but also because of the incredible value for money in terms of offers and pricing. To maintain the outstanding standards at our resort in winter season 2025/2026, we are increasing the prices of day and multi-day passes by a modest 2%. Compared to other resorts, Aletsch Bahnen continues to offer exceptional value for money. Our dynamic pricing model means that the earlier you book, the cheaper the price will be. Weather conditions have no impact on the price.
Aletsch Bahnen will continue to provide attractive offers in future to encourage kids and teens to enjoy winter sports and to reduce the financial pressure on families. Children under 16 can still hit the slopes for free on Saturdays. Free Saturdays are automatically included in the total price when buying multi-day ski passes. Teenagers still enjoy a 15% discount on the adult rates. And, as before, the third child skis for free. Book early and pay less. Many guests are already enjoying the benefits of dynamic pricing. Booking early means you pay less but also allows you to get straight onto the slopes without queuing, while always guaranteeing the best available price. Our moderate dynamic pricing model is based on actual operating and procurement costs, the quality of the product and the purchasing behaviour of our visitors. Guests still enjoy outstanding value for money even after the moderate price increases. Due to the price increases for one-day and multi-day passes, the cost of our one-day passes excluding feeder lifts now varies between CHF 53 and CHF 83 (previously CHF 81). The six-day ski pass excluding feeder lifts costs between CHF 227 and CHF 408. So it is still well worth booking early.
We recommend the new “AlpsPass” season pass for frequent visitors and families. The set-price AlpsPass is the cheapest option for our regular guests. The AlpsPass replaces the Aletsch season pass at the general rate. This pass offers extremely attractive conditions – especially for families – and if purchased in advance (1 September 2025 to 15 November 2025) costs CHF 199 for children, CHF 299 for teens and CHF 949 for adults. In combination with the AlpsPass, an additional summer pass is available for the Aletsch Arena – this costs CHF 100 for children, CHF 150 for teens and CHF 200 for adults. The AlpsPass gives you unlimited access for the entire winter to the ski resorts of the Aletsch Arena, Jungfrau Ski Region, Engelberg-Titlis and Adelboden-Lenk – with feeder lifts always included. You also enjoy additional attractive benefits and inter-resort days. More information can be found at: https://en.alpspass.ski/.
We take sustainability seriously. As a car-free high plateau, we use renewable energy to cover 100% of our electricity requirements and in 2024 were recognised as the most eco-friendly ski resort by skiresort.ch. Want to know more? Visit: aletscharena.ch/sustainability.

You can choose between “SkiCare” and “PassProtect” when booking in the webshop or at the Aletsch Arena ticket counters. “SkiCare” (CHF 5 per day extra) covers the reimbursement of ski passes, ski rental and ski lessons in case of accident, illness or adverse weather conditions (less than five lifts in operation) as well as the cost of rescue, transportation and treatment in the event of a skiing accident. “PassProtect” (CHF 3 per day extra) covers the reimbursement of ski passes, ski rental and ski lessons in case of accident, illness or adverse weather conditions (less than five lifts in operation).

Ski passes with or without feeder lifts
Whether it’s a day trip, a short break in the valley or a skiing holiday on the Alp: the Aletsch Arena ski passes are tailored to your needs and so are available either with or without the feeder lifts (from the valley to the Aletsch plateau). If you’re spending your skiing holidays on the plateau and only need the feeder lifts on arrival and departure, you can book the multi-day ski pass that excludes the feeder lifts. If you’re staying overnight in the valley and use the feeder lifts daily, we recommend the ski pass that includes the feeder lifts. The GA Travelcard is valid on feeder lifts from the valley to the plateau.
Junior Travelcard
The Junior Travelcard cannot be used together with a ski pass or a season/annual pass including a feeder lift. It is essential to take this into account when choosing a ticket.
Family discount: from the third child, the pass is free
Families benefit from attractive discounts when buying family ski passes during their holidays in the Aletsch Arena. The pass for the third child and each additional child up to 15.99 years of age living in the same household is free of charge – regardless of whether one or both parents are present. The pass must cover the same time period. Package deals are excluded from the offer.
If parents or a babysitter are taking turns to look after small children under 6 years of age, they can use the same ski pass (1–14 days). The pass is only valid with an ID.
Booking a ski pass online
When you book your ski pass online, you get a number of extra benefits:
No queuing at the ticket counter
Simply pick up your ski pass at our pick-up machines or, for a convenient alternative, load it onto your existing KeyCard or SwissPass
The ski pass is personal and non-transferable. The holder must show proof of their identity by presenting an official form of photo ID.
