Full-Moon Fondue Fun at the Bättmerhitta restaurant
Enjoy a full moon fondue at the Bättmerhitta: On a mystical full moon evening, you and your family or friends can look forward to a Valais platter, followed by a traditional Valais cheese fondue and a delicious dessert in the cozy mountain hut Bättmerhitta. Before your fondue evening in the Aletsch Arena, you can either take part in a guided night-time snowshoe hike or make your own way to Restaurant Bättmerhitta from Fiescheralp or Bettmeralp with a romantic walk of about 45 minutes. Experience the full moon and feel its mysterious effect!

Meet up:
- Fondue Fun only: 18:30 at Restaurant Bättmerhitta, Bettmeralp
- Fondue Fun + snowshoe tour (you must bring your own snowshoes): 16:30 Hotel Aletsch, Bettmeralp
Equipment: Warm softshell or fleece jacket, gloves, hat, robust footwear, small snack and something to drink. Please bring your own snowshoes and walking poles.
Requirements: Good basic fitness for a snowshoe hike with approx. 300 metres of ascent and around 1.5 hours of walking time.
Register: by 12 noon the day before, can only be booked via the webshop
Minimum group size 10 people for event to take place.
Please note: After the slopes close at 16:30, the Bättmerhitta can only be reached on foot from Bettmeralp or Fiescheralp via the official winter hiking trail. Arrival by ski is not permitted.

- The Bättmerhitta is just a 45-minute walk from Fiescher or Bettmeralp. No snowshoes are required on the prepared official winter hiking trail.
Please note: For safety reasons, the restaurant can only be reached on foot (as the slopes are being prepared by snow groomers in the evening). It is expressly prohibited to access the slopes in the evening and at night. Contact person
