The fast-paced route starts at the mountain station of the aerial cableway Bettmeralp. Here you can also rent the all-terrain trottinettes including helmet. Take the underpass towards Alpmatten and then follow Flurstrasse via Ried and Domo downhill. Along the way, you will repeatedly pass beautifully located alpine pastures. After about 40 minutes of riding, you will reach the idyllic village of Betten. From here, you take the aerial cableway back to Bettmeralp.

Important:
Children accompanied by their parents can rent a trottinette from 10 years of age. Young people aged 16 and over can rent the all-terrain scooters even without parental accompaniment. Trottinettes are generally only approved for one person! Carrying children on the trottinette is not allowed.

  • The minimum age for children accompanied by parents is 10 years.
  • Without adult accompaniment, young people from 16 years old are allowed to rent a trottinette.
  • Trottinettes are only approved for one person. Carrying children is not allowed.
  • The driving style and speed must be adapted to the terrain, own skills, and other road users.
  • Riding is generally at your own risk.
  • Throughout the route, expect oncoming traffic, pedestrians, vehicles, and livestock.
  • Do not leave marked paths.
  • Behave considerately towards other path users, plants, and animals.

Directions & Parking facilities

Via cantonal road 19 to the exit Bettmeralp valley station. Take the aerial cableway Bettmeralp (Aletsch Bahnen AG) up to Bettmeralp.

Large paid parking lot/garage at the valley station of the aerial cableway Bettmeralp (Aletsch Bahnen AG).

Take the train from Brig or Oberwald to Bettmeralp valley station. Take the aerial cableway Bettmeralp (Aletsch Bahnen AG) up to Bettmeralp.
