Lovely half-day route, mostly on roads and gravel paths, from Fiesch up to Schinerewysse and back. The starting point is at the public transport hub in Fiesch. From there you cycle towards Lax, turn left at the tennis court at the edge of the village and cross the Rotten bridge at the EW power station. After a short stretch off-road, you meet the Binntal road, which you follow up to Ernen and further to the Binntal tunnel. You bypass it on the right on the unpaved field road through the Twingi gorge. At the exit of the gorge, you pass the hamlet Ze Binne, which lies by a small reservoir and is worth an extra lap. Here you meet the Binntal road again and soon reach Binn, a small mountain village known, like the entire valley, for its mineral wealth. After crossing the Roman bridge, you continue downhill towards Imfeld. Here, the beautiful village center with Valais houses and the restaurant Bärgekristall invite you to take a break. Then you continue uphill on an unpaved road. At Schinerewysse, the highest point of the tour (2,215 m) is reached. The magnificent view of the impressive mountain scenery rewards the hard climb just mastered. The anticipation of a rapid descent is justified: via the scenic Freichi, you return to Imfeld and Binn. Again you pass the wild romantic Twingi gorge and ride down the Binntal road to Ernen. As an alternative for the section up to the Rotten bridge, it is now recommended to take the field road through the Erner field. After crossing the Rotten bridge, it goes back to Fiesch.
