  • Destination: Bettmeralp, mountain station aerial cableway

The starting point of the winter hike is the mountain station of the Bettmeralp aerial cableway. From there you initially hike through the lower part of the village Bettmeralp to the east. Past the Alpmatten ski lift, continue towards Ried until you reach a statue of the Virgin Mary by the wayside. About 100 meters later, a path branches off to the left, which you follow. The route leads through the Baderwald forest, first gently, then moderately uphill to Baschweri. Once there, you reach the forest promenade. On this, you hike back westwards to Bettmeralp.

The route consists of several sections. Please check the winter sports report for the status open/closed.
