The start and end point of the circular route, opened in 2019, is the Eggishorn cable car top station. From here, you reach particularly impressive viewpoints on the approximately 500-meter-long circular route. A total of 9 glacier lounges invite you to enjoy the magnificent view of over forty four-thousanders and the Great Aletsch Glacier. Information panels along the route provide you with interesting and fascinating facts about the largest ice stream in the Alps and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch. You should allow about an hour for the easily walkable circular route – including the time spent at the lounges. Part of this impressive themed path is pram-friendly and accessible for people with disabilities.
