- Destination: Fiesch train station
From the village square Fieschertal, cross the Wysswasser and after the barn turn right to the Suone. At the crossroads, turn left and follow the Suonenweg downhill to its end at the Bärfetbach. From there, continue via Wiler to Fiesch train station. Those who want to do a circular hike can take the old Lagger Wyssa Suonenweg back. The Lagger Wyssa runs 50 m higher parallel to the Fiescher Wyssa but no longer carries water.
For those starting from Fiesch: cross the tracks at Fiesch train station and climb up to the upper part of the village. Cross the paved Stirnigstrasse and just under the cable car cables, you will find the Suonenweg.

Directions & Parking facilities
Drive on cantonal road 19 to the Fiesch exit, then continue on Fieschertalstrasse to Fieschertal.
Limited number of paid parking spaces available at the village square Fieschertal.
Take the train from Brig or Oberwald to Fiesch and then continue by post bus to Fieschertal. Alternatively, start the hike in Fiesch.
