From Riederalp Mitte, walk east to the valley station of the combined Moosfluh glacier railway. The gondola takes you up in a few minutes to the Moosfluh viewpoint – a dreamy vantage point overlooking the Great Aletsch Glacier and at the same time the starting point of the sledding path. From there, you sled down via “Scheene Bodu” and Gopplerlücke to the Moosfluh valley station on Riederalp. Constant companion on the thrilling sled ride: the dream view of the Valais mountains. Note: Sleds can be rented at local sports shops.

Safety guidelines
- Walking on the ski slopes is prohibited.
- Show consideration towards other sledders.
- Adjust speed and driving style to your ability. Every sledder must ride in sight. They must adapt their speed and driving style to their skill level, the terrain, snow and weather conditions, as well as traffic density.
- Ride sitting, not headfirst or lying down, do not tie sleds together.
- Respect the lane of the sledder in front. The sledder from behind must choose their lane so as not to endanger the sledder ahead.
- Overtake with distance.

Directions & Parking facilities
- Getting thereAlong Cantonal Road 19 to the Mörel-Filet exit, then continue to the signposted parking facilities. Take the Riederalp cable car (Aletsch Bahnen AG) up to Riederalp.Parking
- Limited number of paid parking spaces at the Mörel-Filet train station. Additional parking options are signposted.
- Large paid parking garages at the entrance to Mörel-Filet as well as in the village center.
Public transportationBy train from Brig or Oberwald to Mörel-Filet, then on foot to the Riederalp cable car (Aletsch Bahnen AG). Take this up to Riederalp. Additional information
