From the mountain station of the Bettmeralp cable car, walk westwards for about 25 minutes to the valley station of the Moosfluh combi glacier cable car. The gondola will take you in a few minutes up to the Moosfluh viewpoint – a fantastic vantage point with views of the Great Aletsch Glacier and simultaneously the start of the sledging path. On this, you sledge via «Scheene Bodu» and Bettmersee back to Bettmeralp. Constant companion on the fast sledging ride: the dream view of the Valais mountains. Note: sledges can be rented at local sports shops.

Safety guidelines
- Walking on the ski slopes is prohibited.
- Be considerate towards other sledgers.
- Adjust speed and driving style to your skill level. Every sledger must ride with visibility. They must adjust their speed and driving style according to their skill, the terrain, snow and weather conditions, and traffic density.
- Ride sitting down, do not ride headfirst or lying down, do not tie sledges together.
- Respect the lane of the sledder in front. The sledder coming from behind must choose their lane so as not to endanger sledgers ahead.
- Overtake with distance.

Take the canton road 19 to the Bettmeralp valley station exit. Then take the Bettmeralp cable car (Aletsch Bahnen AG) up to Bettmeralp.
Large paid parking lot/parking garage at the valley station of the Bettmeralp cable car (Aletsch Bahnen AG).
Take the train from Brig or Oberwald to Bettmeralp valley station. Then take the Bettmeralp cable car (Aletsch Bahnen AG) up to Bettmeralp.
