From the mountain station of the Riederalp Mitte cable car, you have two options to reach the trail: Take the path that goes uphill opposite the mountain station past a standalone chalet. Or walk west until you reach Hotel Riederhof and follow the small road that leads uphill to the right of the hotel. On the approximately 1.1 km long cross-country trail with a magnificent view of the mountain world, you can ski your rounds in skating style.

Safety guidelines
- Use of the trails is at your own risk.
- Use only marked trails and observe all markings and signs – for your own safety, to protect the landscape, and out of respect for wildlife.
- Be considerate of other trail users.
- Every cross-country skier must adjust speed and behavior, especially on descents, to their skill level and visibility.
- In classic tracks and on the piste for free technique, keep an appropriate safety distance to the skier in front and stay on the right side.
- If you stop, step out of the trail.
- Weather conditions in the mountains can change very quickly and without warning. Appropriate clothing is very important.

- Weather-appropriate (water- and windproof) warm clothing and headwear
- Sunglasses
- Good sun protection, even in cloudy weather. UV rays at high altitudes can be especially strong in winter.
Directions & Parking facilities
- Limited number of paid parking spaces at the Mörel-Filet station. Additional parking options are signposted.
- Large paid parking garages at the entrance to Mörel-Filet as well as in the village center.
