The beautiful hike takes you over a mountain ridge from the Riederalp to the Bettmeralp. At the very beginning of the hike, you pass the Riederfurka. It is worth taking a break here to visit the Pro Natura Center Aletsch in the impressive Villa Cassel. Above the Aletsch forest, you walk along the former moraines of the massive glaciers. Your constant companion is an impressive view over the Great Aletsch Glacier. From Biel, you can also take in the other side of the mountain ridge. Here stretches a wild mountain landscape and you enjoy the view over Riederalp and Bettmeralp. Arriving at the Bettmerhorn viewpoint, you will be rewarded with a great panoramic view.
