Destination: Bellwald

The starting point of the hike is the old valley station of the Fiesch-Eggishorn aerial cableways. From there, you first follow the Bregeraweg to the junction of the hiking trail to Bellwald. Through wonderfully shady forests, the path ascends via Gibelegga towards Fürgangen and further on to the Chapel of St. Anna. From there, you continue hiking over meadows to Bellwald. You take the Bellwald–Fürgangen aerial cableway back down to the valley in Fürgangen. From there, you take the train back to Fiesch.

Follow Cantonal Road 19 to the Fiesch exit, then follow Furkastrasse to the valley station of the Fiesch-Eggishorn aerial cableway (Aletsch Bahnen AG).

Large, fee-based parking lot at the valley station of the Fiesch-Eggishorn aerial cableway (Aletsch Bahnen AG).

By train from Brig or Oberwald to Fiesch, then on foot to the starting point of the route at the valley station of the Fiesch-Eggishorn aerial cableway (Aletsch Bahnen AG).

In the mood for an adrenaline kick? Make a detour to the Goms Bridge in Fürgangen. The 280 m long suspension bridge crosses the Rhone at a height of 92 m.
