From Bettmeralp, you walk leisurely towards the east. The path leads over wide alpine meadows and offers an impressive view into the village center. Via the Bättmer Hitta and the Bettmersee, you reach the Laxeralp. From there, the well-developed high trail continues to Fiescheralp. Along the way, you repeatedly enjoy magnificent views of the Valais four-thousanders and the Rhone Valley. Upon arriving at Fiescheralp, you can stop at one of the mountain restaurants before taking the cable car down to Fiesch.

Directions & Parking facilities
Via the cantonal road 19 to the Bettmeralp valley station exit. Take the Bettmeralp cable car (Aletsch Bahnen AG) up to Bettmeralp.
Large paid parking lot/parking garage at the valley station of the Bettmeralp cable car (Aletsch Bahnen AG).
By train from Brig or Oberwald to Bettmeralp valley station. Take the Bettmeralp cable car (Aletsch Bahnen AG) up to Bettmeralp.
