The Wurzenbord chairlift from Bettmeralp takes you up to the start of the Flowtrail (2215 m a.s.l.). The trail fits perfectly into the varied terrain and is suitable for beginners and mountain bike pros alike. You'll find a great mix of corners, rollers and jumps – ideal for improving your bike technique or enjoying a fast descent. While descending back to Bettmeralp, you pass through various alpine zones and have fantastic views of the Valais mountain panorama. The trail ends at the Wurzenbord cable car station, which brings you back to the starting point within minutes.

Use only marked bike paths and roads and follow the signs. Please close gates and pasture fences behind you. Be considerate towards hikers as well as plants and animals. Hikers always have right of way. Accurately assess your abilities and condition. Riding the various routes is fundamentally at your own risk.

Via the cantonal road 19 to the exit Bettmeralp valley station. Then take the Bettmeralp cable car (Aletsch Bahnen AG) up to Bettmeralp.
Large paid parking lot/parking garage at the valley station of the Bettmeralp cable car (Aletsch Bahnen AG).
By train from Brig or Oberwald to Bettmeralp valley station. Then take the Bettmeralp cable car (Aletsch Bahnen AG) up to Bettmeralp.
