Circular hike from Eggishorn via Märjelensee to Fiescheralp

The hiking route starts directly behind the Horli-Hitta near the Eggishorn cable car mountain station. Follow the downhill serpentine path to the signpost «Gletscherstube, Tälligrat, Märjelen». Now hike over the nicely laid slab path to the Tälligrat and the small Tällisee, which is a beautiful viewpoint. From there, continue descending to the Gletscherstube mountain hut. Take the opportunity here for a detour to the «Platta»: From this viewpoint, you can see the size of the former Märjelensee. Clearly visible deposits testify to the former shoreline. Alternatively, you can also hike directly down to Märjelensee. For the way back to Fiescheralp from the Gletscherstube, you have two options: The slightly longer route shown here takes you via Unners Tälli. Alternatively, you can take the shorter route through the illuminated Tälligrattunnel back to Fiescheralp.
