“Ski for free” taster course for everyone under sixteen
The ski taster course on Riederalp is perfect for all skiing and snowboarding beginners under the age of 16. The two-hour, free taster course at the Riederalp Ski and Snowboard School gives participants the opportunity to try skiing or snowboarding for the first time. The sports stores in the Aletsch Arena support the promotion and offer free ski or snowboard hire. This free winter sports course in the Aletsch Arena is part of the “Schgi fer frii” (Ski for free) promotion. Up to your 16th birthday, you are entitled to a free one-day ski pass every Saturday.
Dates: 10. January 2026
Registration: by the Thursday before, 17:00, with the ski school Riederalp
Meet up: at Kinderland with the appropriate equipment
By the way: In December (13.12.2025) there is also a course on the Bettmeralp and in January (17.1.2026) on the Fiescheralp.
