Ski pass prices and the advantages of the dynamic pricing system
Here we list all the main details of prices and purchasing options for your ski pass. Save money and benefit even more when you book early and online.
The Aletsch Arena is a fabulous ski area at the Great Aletsch Glacier with views of over 40 mountains of 4,000 metres or more. 104 kilometres of superbly groomed slopes for all proficiency levels, several snow parks and freeride routes are easy to reach thanks to the 35 lifts, and open up a varied snow sports paradise for old and young snow sports enthusiasts.
Ski passes with or without feeder lifts
Whether it’s a day trip, a short break in the valley or a skiing holiday on the Alp: the Aletsch Arena ski passes are tailored to your needs and so are available either with or without the feeder lifts (from the valley to the Aletsch plateau). If you’re spending your skiing holidays on the plateau and only need the feeder lifts on arrival and departure, you can book the multi-day ski pass that excludes the feeder lifts. If you’re staying overnight in the valley and use the feeder lifts daily, we recommend the ski pass that includes the feeder lifts. The General Abonnement (GA) is valid on the feeder railways from the valley to the plateau.
Ski pass prices – how you can benefit from the dynamic pricing system
The prices of the 4-hour ticket, the one-day ski pass and the multi-day ski passes are dynamic. The earlier you book your ski pass, the cheaper it gets. The price on any one day is primarily determined by the time of booking, the mode of booking (online or in person) and the season. Weather conditions have no impact on the price.
The Day Pass (with feeder lift) costs between CHF 51 and CHF 66 at the ticket counter (it’s cheaper online).
Family discount: from the 3rd child free of charge
Families benefit from attractive discounts when buying family ski passes during their holidays in the Aletsch Arena. The ticket for the 3rd and every further child up to 16 years of age living in the same household is given away free of charge - regardless of whether one or both parents are present. However, the subscription must cover the same period of time; package deals are excluded from the promotion.
In case of alternating care of small children under 6 years of age by one parent or babysitter, the same ski pass (1 - 21 days) can be used. The presentation of an identity card is compulsory.
Children and young people up to their 20th birthday benefit from the "Ski for free" offer in the extensive ski area in the Aletsch Arena during the entire winter season and receive a free day ski pass every Saturday.
Group benefits
With its infrastructure and accommodation, the Aletsch Arena is perfect for group trips. The ski area has something to offer for all ages and abilities, so that groups with different levels can also get their money's worth on the slopes.
