Cheese Fondue Fun in the Gondola to the Bettmerhorn
In the fondue gondola up to the Bettmerhorn, your dinner becomes a special experience. You’ll enjoy your dinner in a cozy, comfortably furnished gondola. During the ride up to the Bettmerhorn, you can savor a delicious, regional cheese fondue with family or friends while admiring the atmospheric view of Bettmeralp at night.
Dates: Every Wednesday from Dec. 23, 2026, through March 31, 2027
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Meeting point: Bettmerhorn Gondola Valley Station
Registration: by12:00 PM the day before

Details
This event will take place with a minimum of 15 participants. Each gondola can accommodate 4 people. If there are more of you, you’ll need to split up into additional gondolas. You will not share the gondola with strangers. A booking is valid for an entire gondola.
In case of uncertain weather conditions (snowfall/wind), the tour will be canceled for safety reasons. Please check the email regarding the tour’s status and boarding time, which will be sent to participants by 12:00 PM on Wednesday morning .

- The Bettmerhorn cable car is only a 20-minute walk from the Bettmeralp mountain station. Cross the village and walk in the direction of the sports center Bachtla. The gondola lift is located on the opposite side of the sports centre.
