Guided hike "Katzenlöcher"

This impressive hike leads from the Moosfluh with magnificent views of the Aletsch Glacier to the fascinating, deep blue shimmering ice caves on the edge of the glacier.

We first take the gondola to the Moosfluh viewpoint, where an impressive panorama opens up over the mighty ice flow. From there, we descend towards the edge of the glacier and set off in search of the hidden entrance to the glowing ice caves. Inside, a fascinating world of ancient ice, light and shapes opens up, allowing you to experience the glacier in a special way.

An extraordinary tour for anyone who wants to discover the fascination and power of the glacier at close quarters.

Dates: Tuesdays during the summer season (or by arrangement)
Meeting point: 9.00 am at the Moosfluh glacier cable car valley station, Riederalp
