Free travel from Lax to Fiesch if you’re doing winter sports

The following Aletsch Arena winter sports passes are accepted as valid second-class tickets on the MGBahn Lax–Feriendorf–Fiesch:

• Annual Pass
• AlpsPass 
• Season Pass
• Aletsch Bahnen one-day and multi-day tickets
• Sledding Day Package Fiescheralp–Lax
• Guest Card Lax/Sport Resort Fiesch*

* only valid for travel to Fiesch at the start of your visit if you don’t already have a ski pass. For the return journey, you must show a valid ski pass.

Important: You can only travel free of charge if you join or leave the train in Lax or at the Sport Resort Fiesch (Feriendorf station).

You have to buy a train ticket for the route if...

• you have a single ticket for Aletsch Bahnen.
• you travel from Mörel to Fiesch, for example, or do not get on or off at Lax or the holiday village (Feriendorf station).
• you have no intention of doing winter sports in the Aletsch Arena.
• you travel outside the winter season (official start/end of season).
