2-day glacier trekking Jungfraujoch – Lake Märjelensee

The Jungfraujoch/Lake Märjelen glacier hike starts with a train ride to the Jungfraujoch. On this guided alpine hike, you’ll pass the Great Aletsch Glacier before reaching the Konkordia Hut, which is one of the most charming in the Western Swiss Alps. You’ll spend the night here and take in the final rays of sun. On the second day of this hike in the Aletsch Arena, you’ll continue to Lake Märjelen, a place steeped in legend and from there back to Fiescheralp.

Note: Seat reservations are mandatory on the Jungfrau Railways from 1 May to 31 October. The journey to the Jungfraujoch is not included in the price and must be arranged by the guest.

Requirements: sure-footedness, no mountaineering experience required
Equipment: Trekking or hiking boots (good tread), long, sporty clothing, hat, jacket, sunglasses, gloves, shorts not suitable on the glacier (wind), silk sleeping bag, packed lunch and drinks, walking poles recommended
Number of participants: min. 7 people
