Directions & Parking facilities
Bettmeralp is car-free and can only be reached by cablecars (125 and 50 person cabins). The journey is simple. The Matterhorn-Gotthard railway stops directly in front of the cabelcar- station. The car can be parked at in- or outdoor-parkings. From the top cabelcar-station (baggage ticket), you follow approx. 300 m direction village center. At the sign Hotel Garni Slalom turn to the right directon to chapel "Maria Zum Schnee". From Hotel Garni same level at the Chalet La Cordée, directly to the house Sonnhalde. If you want to transport your luggage yourself, you will find a hand-car or a luggage- sledge in front of the house. Arrival and departure usually take place on Saturdays. The apartment can be occupied from 2.00 pm and should be released between 09:00 and 10:00 am.
