The Chalet Sandgrube is located at 1190 m above sea level in Ried-Mörel and is the highest point accessible by car in the Aletsch Arena. The cable car is only 200m away on foot, making it easy to reach the ski area on Riederalp in winter. In summer, the chalet offers the perfect starting point for wonderful hiking routes with views of the Aletsch Glacier.
