Konkordia Hut – a spectacular alpine viewpoint
The Konkordia Hut is undoubtedly one of the most impressive mountain huts in the Alps. With 155 beds, it is the largest hut of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) and, despite its remote location, one of the most visited.
Perched above the Great Aletsch Glacier, the largest glacier in the Alps, it offers breathtaking views over an endless sea of ice surrounded by iconic peaks.

The long and demanding approaches, followed by the famous staircase leading up to the hut, are part of the adventure. But once you reach the terrace, the panorama and sense of vastness make every step worthwhile.
