It is situated in the Alpmatten district and can be reached from the cable car station in about 10 to 15 minutes on foot or by taxi. In winter, the "Alpmatten" ski lift is only a minute's walk away, with direct access to the Aletsch Arena ski area. The ski run is accessible right up to the chalet. The nearby conveyor lift takes you conveniently to the center of Bettmeralp.
