Abusunna is situated in the most central and beautiful spot you can find in Riederalp - with a quiet location and an unobstructed south-facing view of the beautiful Valais Alps, for example the Matterhorn as well as the Mischabel group and the Simplon. Directly in front of the front door is the trainer ski lift (meeting point for ski schools) with connection to the other ski lifts, as well as a sports shop, a supermarket (Coop centre), an info centre / post office and a pizzeria, a bakery/tea room, other restaurants, public wellness centres, etc. In summer there is a 9-hole golf course and a mini-golf course in operation, as well as many other sports facilities.
