«The name comes from the part of the village where the bar is located. In the past, a Stafel was a stable or hut where people gathered in the evening to relax together. That’s exactly the feeling we want to revive – a cozy, stylish après-ski,» explains the 38-year-old.
After water damage, the venue was completely renovated over the summer. Today, reclaimed wood dominates the interior, creating warmth and a sense of comfort.
Mirjam Margelisch’s former wine shop, ‘Miri’s Box’, now appears as a wine lounge with a sofa and a walk-in wine cabinet. «If guests like a wine, they can take it home or order it directly,» she says.
