Cable car to the Eggishorn suspended

The temporary suspension of operations is due to concrete work on the foundation of a new cable car tower for the planned new cable car. The work will be carried out by helicopter. For safety reasons, cable car operations must be suspended during helicopter transport operations.

Thursday, 15 October, has been scheduled as a reserve day. Depending on flying conditions and the progress of the work, the cable car may also be out of service on this day. You can find the latest information in the status report. Find out more about the construction project here.
