Snowgarden Bettmeralp – the perfect introduction to the world of snow 

The Snowgarden Bettmeralp in the heart of the Aletsch Arena is the ideal place for children from the age of three to gain their first experience in the snow. Located right next to the picturesque Maria zum Schnee chapel, the Snowgarden is appreciated for its lovingly designed layout and child-friendly infrastructure: gentle slopes, a Magic Carpet (conveyor belt) and simple courses ensure that learning to glide and brake is fun and safe. 

The experienced children’s instructors at the Swiss Snowsports School Bettmeralp offer taster courses and group lessons, and coach the youngsters with much patience and empathy. As a result, their first moments in the snow are a success – with no stress at all. 

Courses: Please sign up online or in person at the Ski School office 

Outside the course times, the Snowgarden may be used for a fee of CHF 10 – a perfect opportunity for children to learn to ski in a playful, fun way.  

Please note: If the morning lessons are fully booked, guided lessons are also held in the afternoon. In this case, the Snowgarden is reserved exclusively for these children from 14:00 to 16:00 and closed to everyone else.
