Each year on the second Sunday in August, we celebrate the traditional Cassel Festival on the grounds of Villa Cassel. On this day, our doors are open to locals and holiday guests. We look forward to welcoming you!

In addition to good food and musical entertainment, the historic Villa Cassel and its surroundings can be explored on exciting guided tours. Numerous attractions for both kids and adults are on the agenda.
The tradition lives on
The Cassel Festival goes back to the constructor of Villa Cassel, Sir Ernest Cassel. He always endeavoured to maintain friendly contact with the local population and once a year in August he invited them to his home in front of Villa Cassel for food, refreshments and dancing.
The festival only takes place in good weather. Information about the event will be provided on the Pro Natura Aletsch website.
