Climbers’ paradise around the Burghütte
The crags around the Burghütte hut are a real paradise for keen climbers.
Situated in the pre-Alpine terrain, they are ideal for groups, families and ambitious climbers. Up-to-date topos can be viewed directly at the hut.
Sonnenplatten
In the Sonnenplatten sector, over ten multi-pitch routes ranging from 4b to 6a+ await you, as well as numerous single-pitch routes with grades from 3a to 7a.
Burgplatten
The Burgplatten sector offers four multi-pitch routes at grade 4 as well as further climbing routes ranging from 5a to 6b.
Burgwand
At the Burgwand, you will find three impressive multi-pitch routes: Mauerlöifer (4c), Burgwand (4c) and Burgkante (5b).
Gletscherplatten
At the Fiescher Glacier, the noticeable retreat of the Alpine glaciers is striking. It leaves behind compact, smooth-worn rock slabs with a magnificent view of the Klein Wannenhorn. There are several multi-pitch routes here: Hubert (5c), Koni (6a+), Franz (6a), Sepp (6c), Rostige Schnupf (6b+) and Bluttini (6c+).
Important:
As with any climbing park, a good knowledge of ropes, belaying techniques and safety is essential.
Use of the climbing area is at your own risk.
