- Start: Riederalp, mid station cable car
- Destination: Riederalp, mid station cable car
From the Riederalp mid cable car station you ride along the asphalted Aletsch promenade to Bettmeralp. Pass through the village center and continue towards the Wurzenbord chairlift. Upon reaching the forest edge, follow the forest path that passes the Baschweri rope park to the Alpmatten junction (on the right). Now it goes downhill! You pass the hamlet of Domo and follow the paved road further down the valley. About 1 km before Betten village, turn left after the last hairpin bend onto the natural path and bike to the hamlet of Martisberg. Here awaits the next descent down to Lax. From there the bike route leads above the main road to Fiesch. Upon reaching the public transport hub, take the cable car up to Fiescheralp. Continue via Herrenweg towards Bettmeralp. Only the section Bättmer-Hitta – Wurzenbord is somewhat steep on this route segment. The last stage leads back via the Aletsch promenade to the mid cable car station at Riederalp.
By the way: This bike route is also e-MTB suitable. The time indications are correspondingly reduced. On our tour portal you can calculate the time required.
