  • Start: Church, Mörel-Filet
  • Destination: Church, Mörel-Filet

The route starts at the church in Mörel-Filet. Walk along the village street to the mountain-side end of the village. There, turn left onto the path to Salzgäb or the Chestnut Trail. However, you continue westward towards Bitsch. Passing the Ebnet district, the church, and the school, you reach the Massa suspension bridge. Enjoy the impressive view into the Massa gorge on the bridge! After reaching the other side, follow the gently downhill path via Massegga (magnificent view!) into the village centre of Naters. On the "Rote Meile" you now walk eastwards back to Bitsch. There, walk up the small path opposite the Raiffeisenbank and continue along the old water channel to "Ze hohe Flühe," where you cross the main road and the Rotten. Now walk over the floodplain area Sand towards Mörel-Filet. After the power plant, cross the Rotten again and return to the starting point of the hike.
