Hotel des alpes in Fiesch has won two awards for its commitment to sustainability: it was awarded the «Swisstainable Level II – engaged» and «Valais brand – engaged company» label. The family-run hotel has been consistently implementing eco-friendly processes, buying regional products and assuming social responsibility for many years. Hotel manager Fabian Albrecht has been using locally bottled clean, fresh Aletsch mountain water at the restaurant since 2019. The hotel has also switched to LED lighting.
