Every second weekend in June, the World Heritage Sites in Switzerland open their doors and invite you to discover the unknown, the unique and the extraordinary. Guided hikes are once again taking place this year in the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Guided hike from Moosfluh to Riederfurka and back to Riederalp.
You will be welcomed and accompanied by Jessica Oehler (geographer).

Program

09.33 | Riederalp Mitte gondola lift
Followed by a 10-minute walk to the Moosfluh cable car and onward journey
Then a 1.5-hour hike through the Aletsch forest via Riederfurka back to Riederalp
approx. 14.39 | Return journey with the Riederalp - Mörel gondola

The impressive backdrop of the UNESCO World Heritage Site is dominated by the Great Aletsch Glacier, while the species-rich Aletsch Forest with its fragrant flora enriches the landscape. Expert input along the route provides an insight into the alpine landscape around the Great Aletsch Glacier.
