Culture festival and the big alpine festival
A festival returns.
After ten successful editions of the Riederalp Culture Festival between 2006 and 2015 and a subsequent ten-year break, the time has come in summer 2026: the culture festival is celebrating a unique revival on the Riederalp. A special moment and a wonderful occasion to celebrate.
The annual Great Alpine Festival starts with an invigorating open-air mass, accompanied by music from a yodelling club.
Another highlight of the day is the big parade with various formations and magnificently decorated floats on the themes of tradition, modernity, culture and contemporary life on the alp.Friday, July 31

Another highlight of the day is the big parade with various formations and magnificently decorated floats on the themes of tradition, modernity, culture and contemporary life on the alp.
This is followed by atmospheric entertainment: clubs provide a real festival feeling with country music, yodeling, traditional costumes and dancing. Stefan Roos, Francine Jordi and Chuelee await you in the event tent. Of course, the traditional Steinstoss competition is also a must.
