Alpmatten–Bettmeralp inclined lift

The funicular Alpmatten-Bettmeralp was replaced by Aletsch Bahnen. 

The funicular that connects the Alpmatten chalet settlement to the village centre of Bettmeralp is an inclined lift, and was replaced by Aletsch Bahnen this autumn. The valley station of the inclined lift is at 1,874m above sea level, the mountain station near St. Michael village centre at 1,938m. Guests will be able to use the inclined lift again this winter season once the work has been completed.
