The International Ski Area Test is an anonymous quality assessment covering a wide range of test criteria. The Ski Area Test team has been travelling around Europe’s alpine region evaluating ski resorts and tourist destinations for 30 years. The Aletsch Arena was the Swiss Ski Area Test winner in 2025.
In addition, the Aletsch Arena received several awards: for having the best slope team, the International Slope Quality Seal for its perfectly groomed pistes every day, the Green Mountain Award for sustainable commitment, and the International Snowshoe Trail Quality Seal. The Bättmerhitta received the gold award for the Best Mountain Restaurant. A special recognition was given to Technical Director Anton Franzen, who was honored with the «Technical Management» award for his outstanding dedication.
