Pure tradition! Following an age-old custom, 100 men gather in Fiesch every 5 December to process through the village with their Trichjen (cowbells) and drive the evil spirits out of the village before Santigläis (St. Nicholas) comes!
The custom is also practised in the other municipalities of the Aletsch Arena, mostly by schoolchildren.
