The Aletsch Arena: a paradise for hikers

Surely there are few places with more impressive scenery for walkers than Aletsch Arena. What's more, the region is part of the UNESCO Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch World Heritage Site  for its very special landscape.

Walkers can enjoy the unique and magnificent mountain landscape wherever they go: on a walk along the Great Aletsch Glacier, on a loop of the three viewpoints looking out over the largest glacier in the Alps and the 4000-metre Valais Alps, or on a ramble through the Aletsch Forest admiring Swiss pines that are as much as 900 years old.
