Gletschi programme Ridge hike to Riederfurka with a visit to the interactive exhibition

We catch the Aletsch Express to Riederalp and then take the gondola lift up to the Moosfluh viewpoint. From there, we hike along the beautiful ridge trail to Riederfurka. After a picnic to refresh our energy, we look round the exciting exhibition at the Pro Natura Centre, which is all about the glacier and nature in the Aletsch region. Afterwards we make our way back to Riederalp.

Meeting point Riederalp: 11:30 at the valley station of the Moosfluh gondola lift 
Duration Riederalp: 11:30 - 15:40 at the Riederalp West gondola lift

Walking time: approx. 2 hours, mostly downhill

All children aged 4-12 can take part in the weekly changing Gletschi programme. Registration is possible at any of the Aletsch Arena Info Centres. | You should wear good shoes, sunscreen and suitable clothing for the weather. | There’s a different place to meet up depending on the activity: see description. | Insurance is the participant’s own responsibility.
