In the middle of the Aletsch Forest, a moor hides between gnarled trees and whale-shaped rocks. It is ancient, soaks up water and provides an unusual home for fascinating animals and plants.
Moors are strictly protected throughout Switzerland, that's how valuable they are! In a playful way, we discover what it takes for a moor to grow and live.
And the bog body? Treacherous animal tracks, forbidden berries and dead trees lead us to the ever-growing peat moss. Its memory is so good that it is sure to give us clues to the bog body when we walk past it. But don't be afraid! It may sound spooky, but our discovery tour will not be scary.
