description: "Barbecuing is a lot of fun wherever you are, but even more so if you can grill your bratwurst right beside a mountain lake. Which is precisely what the Bettmersee barbecue area on Bettmeralp in the Aletsch Arena has to offer. There are three family barbecue areas with grills as well as several stone tables with seating available. Plus, it’s not just the pleasure of a barbecue – there’s a whole bunch of other activities awaiting you here, such as swimming, pedalo outings and fishing, while kids can play to their hearts’ content in the playground or paddling pool. Firewood is provided and toilet facilities are available too."
