Conversion of Bachtla Sports Center

Betten-Bettmeralp: The renovation plans for the Bachtla Sports Center were given the go-ahead on October 23, 2011. 60.5 percent of the population of the Betten-Bettmeralp municipality turned out to cast 162 votes in favor of the conversion of the Bachtla Sports Center, with 22 votes against.
The wellness facilities are to be extended at a cost of around CHF 3.5 million. There are also plans to renovate the restaurant and apartments. With the exception of the sports hall, the center will therefore remain closed while work is carried out from April to November 2012.
