From Geneva you drive along Lake Geneva and the Rhone, from Milan over the Simplon pass which is open all year long (or by the car transport Iselle-Brig), from Germany usually via Basel, Berne, Thun, Kandersteg (where you can put your car through the Lötschberg tunnel, every 30 minutes or so), then to Brig, and finally 12 more km to Betten Talstation (please enter "Grengiols Guldersand" into your GPS device). Or from Zurich district or Lucerne or Gotthard through the Furka tunnel with your car on the train (open all year round) to the Rhone valley and on to Betten Talstation (please enter "Grengiols Guldersand" into your GPS device). There you can park your car in the multi-storey car park and travel high up to car-free Bettmeralp in the large cable-cabin. .
